Custom outfits and made-to-measure tailoring
Whether it is a suit for an interview, a gomesi for a graduation, or a kanzu for an introduction ceremony, a custom order starts with measurements and a clear picture or description of the style. Giving the tailor the event date up front is the single most useful thing you can do, since fittings usually need at least one adjustment before the final piece.
Fabric choice affects both cost and how the finished garment sits — ask the tailor for advice if you are unsure between, for example, a heavier suiting material for structure versus a lighter fabric for Kampala's heat.
- Measurements taken in person or provided from a recent well-fitting garment
- Suits, gomesi, kanzus, dresses and event wear
- At least one fitting before the final garment is delivered
- Fabric advice based on the occasion and the weather
