Terms & Conditions

The Services are a technology marketplace/connector that helps clients find and engage independent third-party service providers ("Providers") across multiple service categories.

We do not provide the provider services ourselves (unless explicitly stated for a specific offering). Providers are independent individuals or businesses.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your account information updated.

• You may register using email/phone and password and (for clients) may also use Google sign-in.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

• Prices are set by Providers. Some prices may be fixed, and others may be negotiable depending on the Provider.
• Currently, payments may occur outside the app depending on the service.
• If we introduce in-app payments later, additional terms may apply.

• Refunds (if any) are handled case-by-case.
• If there is a dispute (e.g., service not completed), you agree to first contact customer support.
• We may facilitate mediation/internal review. We may take enforcement action where appropriate (including suspending providers or businesses).

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for illegal activities.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users.
• Attempt to bypass platform processes, security measures, or access controls.
• Interfere with the operation of the Services.

Some features require location permissions to match nearby providers, show distance, and support navigation/service delivery. You can choose not to grant location permission, but features may be limited.

• Provider verification (if offered) does not guarantee quality, legality, or safety.
• You are responsible for evaluating provider suitability before engaging.
• The platform is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, legality, or outcome of provider services.

We may suspend or terminate your account and/or restrict access to the Services for reasons including fraud, abuse, policy violations, harassment, impersonation, illegal activity, unsafe conduct, or other serious issues. In serious cases, we may act without prior notice.

The Services, including software, branding, and content owned by LookerService, are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LookerService will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services.

You agree to indemnify and hold LookerService harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of rights of others.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We may notify you via in-app notice, email, and/or by posting updates on the Website. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
